Uganda Birding and wildlife Safari 10 Days
Day 1. Arrival and visit Lutembe beach
When you arrive at the airport, a safari representative from Expert guided adventure will be ready to welcome you and drive you to Lutembe beach. You will get the chance of seeing birds like king fisher, hummer cop, cattle egrets, marabou stork, Ruff, Wood, Common, Marsh Sandpipers, Common Green Shank, Long-tailed and Great Cormorants, Madagascar Bee-eater, Green Crombec, Orange weaver, Golden and Yellow backed weavers, Superb sunbird, Bare faced go-away-bird, Ross’s and Great blue Turacos to mention but a few. Lutembe beach is located on the northern shores of Lake Victoria, the bay is less than 8 sq km in size. This beach has over 200 species plus more than 100 water birds. Two Red Data species have been seen plus the rare Shoebill and a Madagascar Squacco Heron. Usual waterfowl counts from1993 show a total of 108 water bird species at the beach of which 26 are Palaearctic migrants. it is a congregation for more than 3000 roosting water birds. Day 2.Drive to Mabamba Swamp
Enjoy your breakfast in the morning and your safari guide will drive you from Kampala to Mabamba Swamp. When at this site, you have great opportunities of spotting the endangered Shoebill stork, Blue Swallow, Black-Shouldered Nightjar, Lesser Jacana, Afep Pigeon, Blue Breasted Bee-Eater, White Winged Warbler, Papyrus Gonolek. Enjoy this moment with the birds and then carry on to Lake Mburo spot some birds as you get into the park. Dinner and overnight at:

Day 3. Game drive/Boat ride
Rise up early in the morning for a game drive. You will get the chance of viewing animals like zebras, elephants, water bucks, Topi, Impalas. The lake within the park is home to Hippos, Crocodiles and on its shores is the savannah grassland. Birds also find a home in the swamps. the fringing swamps are habitats for secretive papyrus specialists like the Sitatungas and Red, Black and Yellow Papyrus Gonalek . Enjoy you boat ride and point out other bird species like Black Collard Barbet, Brown Chested Plover, Red Faced Barbet, Southern Ground Hornbill, Yellow Billed Oxpecker, African Fin foot, Papyrus Yellow Warbler to mention but a few. Day 4. Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following your early morning breakfast carry on to Queen Elizabeth national Park, the hub for birds. You will get to Imaramagambo Forest which is one of the habitats for the birdlife. Tour the bat caves where a large python is thought to exist. View birds that sing from the tree branches and others flying. Dinner and overnight at

Day 5. Queen Elizabeth National Park
Rise up early in the morning for breakfast and head for the great search of the birds and a game drive. Return for lunch and enjoy a boat cruise on the kazinga channel where you will enjoy nore bird species like African Skimmer, Black Rumped Button Quail, Verreaux’s Eagle Owl, Red Footed Falcon, Lesser Flamingoes, Grey Capped Warbler, White’s and Abdim’s Storks (in season), Amur Falcon, Ovampo Sparrowhawk, Wooly-necked and Saddle-billed Storks, and numerous classes of Raptors, Vultures and Plovers etc. these land and others fly off from the shores of the channel. Day 6. Drive from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi National Park
Rise up for breakfast and drive to Bwindi passing via the Ishasha sector where you may have the chance of spotting the tree climbing lions. Do some bird spotting on the way. Arrive and wait for dinner and overnight at:

Day 7. Gorilla trekking and bird watching
After your breakfast, carry on to the ranger station for briefing and a carry your tacking gears, parked food and bird watching gargets. As you search for the gorillas, you will get the chance of meeting different birds especially the albertine endemics. You may take some hours before getting to the mountain gorillas but this is worth a try. What is clear bout the gorillas is that they move in families. You will track a family as your permits states. Spend an hour with the gorillas and carry on with your bird watching later. Return to your lodge and relax.
Day 8. Carry on to Lake Bunyonyi
Rise up early in the morning for breakfast and drive to Kabale. You have great chances of viewing birds on the way. Search for other birds on the shore line. Dinner and overnight at Bushara Island camp / Arcadia cottages
Day 9. Lake Bunyonyi – Kampala
Get up early for breakfast and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi to the Islands spotting various species of birds and migratory birds from Europe usually sighted here. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 10. Drive to Kampala
Get up early in the morning and dive to Kampala to catch up with your flight back home
