9 Days Uganda Gorilla and wildlife safari.
Day One; Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest NP.
In the morning leave Kampala after breakfast and then drive southwestern Uganda to Bwindi Park. The drive will take you about 9 hours to reach the park in the evening. You will stop at the equator and Mbarara for photos and lunch respectively. After that you will enjoy a scenic drive with lots of homestead and banana plantations to reach Buhoma in the evening. Overnight at Gorilla safari resort, Buhoma homestead, and Buhoma community Bandas.
Day Two – Gorilla tracking / trekking.
This morning you will have breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before you move along the park trails tracking the gorillas. The walk through the forest in search of these great apes will be informative providing information about anything including flora. You will meet the gorillas and then spend an hour with them watching them feed, care for the young ones and play an astounding experience that you might search for in along time, and may fail to get. After trekking you will return to your lodge. Overnight at Gorilla resort, Buhoma homestead, and Buhoma community Bandas.
Day Three; Drive to Queen Elizabeth Tour Uganda Safari
In the morning after breakfast you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National park to pass through the Ishasha sector. You will have a game drive enroute through the Ishasha sector searching for tree climbing lions. You then drive to reach the park in the late afternoon. Overnight at Mweya Safari lodge / hippos’ camp / Mweya hostel.
Day Four; Game drive and Boat ride Uganda Tour
In the morning before sunrise you will go for a game drive in the Kasenyi region to go search for predators and nocturnal animals. The park is a home to over 80 mammals to include; lions, African elephants, hyenas, jackals, warthogs, Uganda kobs and many more. In the afternoon you go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. Overnight at Mweya Safari lodge / hippos’ camp / Mweya hostel.
Day Five; Chimpanzee tours in the Kyambura / Transfer to Kibale.
This morning you will transfer to the Kyambura sector to go track chimps and other primates like the baboons, colobus monkeys, bush babies and many more. After tracking you will transfer to fort portal Kibale National park. Overnight at Ndali lodge / Mountains of the moon lodge/ primate’s lodge.
Day Six; Chimpanzee Primate Safari trekking and Nature walk.
In the morning you will transfer to the park headquarter for briefing and then walk through this rainforest searching for chimpanzees. The walk is a guided nature walk providing information on both flora and fauna. After some time you will encounter them chimps and then you will watch them feed, play and care for their young ones. If you are lucky you might watch them hunt, an interesting and amazing venture. In the afternoon you will go for a walk in the Ndali crater lakes region. Overnight at Ndali lodge / Mountains of the moon lodge/ primate’s lodge.
Day Seven; Transfer to Murchison falls National Park.
In the morning after breakfast you will drive to Murchison falls National Park. This is a long drive that will take you about 9 hours reaching the park in the afternoon. Overnight Paraa lodge/ Sambiya lodge / Red chilies camp.
Day Eight; Game drive / Boat ride Adventure Uganda
Very early in the morning before sun rise you will go drive along the different park routes in search for game. This drive will enable you view animals like, elephants, lions, hyenas, jackals, warthogs and leopards.
After the game drive you will return to your lodge for late breakfast. In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls. This will reward you with game like hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and birds. Overnight at Paraa safari lodge/ Nile safari camp/ Sambiya river lodge / red chilie
Day Nine; Drive to Kampala.
This morning after breakfast you will pack your bags to drive back to Kampala reaching in the evening.
