11 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Sail to Ngamba Island

Get up early in the morning and a safari guide from AFRICA NATURE TREKKERS will picked up from your over night hotel and drive you to Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. This center has the summary of Uganda’s adventures like wild animals birds, the vegetation to mention but a few. Afterwards you will sail on a boat to Ngamba Island chimpanzee sanctuary. When you get to Ngamba Island, you will view the chimpanzees feeding from the visitor’s plat form. They struggle to get food and you will notice that survival for the fittest is the law of the jungle. Ngamba Island makes part of the Kome archipelago for Chimpanzee tracking. Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Early in the morning, our safari guide will pick you up from your overnight hotel. he will drive you via Luweero. View the remains of the 1980s liberation war along the way in the Luwero triangle. You will also see the beautiful vegetation along the way plus the gardens that are owned by the locals. Have lunch en route and head to the Ziiwa Rhino sanctuary to Masindi. When you reach at the River Nile, you will move on for ferry crossing if your accommodation is across the river or move on and tour the powerful top of falls. Dinner and overnight at:

Day 3: Launch Cruise along the Victoria Nile

Get up early in the morning for an interesting game drive, you will go to the northern part of the park to search for Giraffes, lions, leopards, Impalas, Topis, Bushbucks, water bucks, and several bird species like the world’s most wanted for bird the shoe bill stock. Go back to the lodge for mid morning break fast and after take lunch. Move on for an afternoon launch cruise on the river Nile which will give you the opportunity to see the schools of Hippos, crocodiles, and a number of water birds. Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National park

Carry on passed Hoima in the verdant country side of the Albertine escarpment, have a journey break for lunch and move on to Fort portal. This long drive is pleasing with stunning panoramas of the western rift valley. Dinner and overnight at

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and a nature walk

Drive to Kibale National park for Chimpanzee tracking. You will converge at Kanyankyu River Camp at 0800 hours for briefing prior to you being part of those looking for Chimpanzees in this tropical rain forest. Day 7: A Nature Walk In The Maramagambo Forest

Rise up early in the morning for a game drive in Kasenyi track and queen’s miles which gives you an opportunity to spot elephants, herds of buffaloes, waterbucks, the Uganda Kob and a number of bird species like the martial Eagle, African Jacana , papyrus gonolek, African Skimmer and many others. Come back to the lodge for mid morning breakfast and lunch. Proceeding that, be part of the launch cruise on the Kazinga channel which will provides you an opportunity to a number of bird species, hippos and crocodiles. Day 8: Chimpanzee Tracking In The Kyambura Gorge- Transfer To Bwindi
