Ssesse Island adventures

Uganda is a lucky land located country which holds the biggest part of the second largest fresh water body in the whole world. This is the mighty Lake Victoria. This lake has Ssesse Island as the largest Island. It is comprised of 84 islands that make it up. the islands are famous for their unexplored forest, endemic birds, butterflies unique aquatic life sport and eco-tourism places.

From the main Capital Kampala, you can get to these Islands on a ferry from Bukakata or Nakiwogo. On your way, you get to view the scenic spots that are on the shores of Lake Victoria. On arrival, you may get the chance of being entertained by the local performers.

get the chance of participating in a guided forest walk were you get the chance of seeing primates like the black and white colobus monkeys , red tailed monkeys to mention but a few. This is also a raven for great bird watches. The beautiful butterflies are despicable.
